The RushCard is a prepaid Visa debit card. The RushCard works like a traditional debit card and is accepted by just about every retailer nationwide. However, if you run out of funds, the card will be rejected until you reload your card with additional funds. Prior to using your RushCard, you must activate it and will be charged a one-time activation fee; this charge posts to your account immediately.
Instructions
1. Register for a RushCard at rushcard.com and choose a plan that best suits your personal usage preferences.
2. Deposit funds onto your RushCard. You can transfer funds from your bank, PayPal account or load your card via money orders or personal checks.
3. Check your paper or online statement. The activation fee is a one-time deduction which posts to your account immediately after you make your first deposit onto your card. Contact RushCard customer service at (866) 568-RUSH if you are charged the same activation fee more than once per card.
Tips Warnings
If you want to activate a renewal card that is replacing your recently expired card, call (866) 568-RUSH.
