A measuring tape, the perfect tool for measuring bra size.
In order to find the correct bra size, it is essential for every woman to be measured and fitted for a bra. Most department stores will assist customers in bra fittings. However, this can be embarrassing for some women and girls. Fortunately, it is incredibly easy to do a bra fitting at home. A young girl can measure herself for her first bra or seek the assistance of her mom or a female friend. Either way, it can be done from the comfort of home to avoid the hassle and embarrassment of being fitted in a store. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Measure around the high back, underneath the armpits and just above the breasts. If this measurement is an even number, that will be the band size of the bra. If it is an odd number, add 1 inch to the measurement to determine the band size.
2. Loosely measure around the biggest part of the bust. Subtract the band size from this measurement to determine the cup size.
3. If the difference between the two measurements is 1 inch, the cup size is A. If the difference is 2 inches, the cup size is B. Three inches equals a C cup, and so forth.
