Use A Magnavox Digital To Analog Tv Converter

Convert the digital signal to analog.

If you have an analog television and receive your programming through either an antenna or basic cable (with no cable receiver box) you no longer can watch television. This is due to all television broadcast stations converting over to digital reception as of 2009. However, if you use a digital converter, such as the Magnavox digital to analog TV converter, you can take the digital signal, switch it to analog and watch your television stations on the analog TV.

Instructions

1. Set the Magnavox digital converter near your analog television. The box is smaller than a VCR or DVD player and doesn't take up a large amount of space.

2. Connect the antenna into the "In" port on the back of the Magnavox digital converter. If you are using the basic cable without a receiver box, connect the coaxial cable running out of your wall into the "In" port on the converter box.

3. Plug a new coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the back of the Magnavox converter box.

4. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable into the "In" port on your television.

5. Power on the Magnavox digital to analog TV converter and your television. Change your TV to station "3." Once on 3, the television programming appears on your screen. Use the Magnavox remote control to further adjust the television stations.
