Find A Radiology Job Internship

Radiology is a career field that is in high demand. If you are currently a radiology student, then you know that part of your education will be a radiology job internship. This internship will provide you with the practical experience you will need to get a good job once you graduate.

Instructions

1. Determine what type of radiology job internships are available in your area. You will need to select the type of internship that is appropriate for your degree: radiology tech or radiology assistant.

2. Discuss your options with your career counselor. Most radiology degree programs are going to have internship opportunities already set up. All you will need to do is apply for the ones that you are most interested in. In some cases you won't have a choice; you will just be assigned an internship.

3. Think outside the box. If your school doesn't require you to take the internship that they offer, then you may want to search for your own internship opportunity. Talk with local hospitals or radiology techs that you know to see if they can help you set up a radiology internship.

4. Recruit a recruiter. Another option that you have is to talk with a medical profession recruiter. These recruiters, or employment agencies, will have information about internships and job leads in the radiology field.

5. Search for a radiology job internship online. MonsterTRAK is a great internship search site to use. You can narrow down your search by city, state and area of interest.
