What Do I Need To Connect My Itouch To An Lcd Projector

You can easily connect your Apple iPod Touch, or iTouch, to an LCD projector using a set of basic audio/visual cables. Apple itself sells sets two different sets of these cables.

Composite AV Cable

The composite cable connector set connects to any LCD projector that uses a single, RCA-style composite video input. The cable plugs into the iTouch's 30-pin connector and splits into three separate cables: the yellow composite video cable and two RCA audio cables.

Component AV Cable

Use a component cable to connect your iTouch to an LCD projector that has component video inputs. Component video inputs are color-coded as yellow, red and blue. The component AV cable set attaches to the iPod's 30-pin connector and splits into five cables: three video cables and two RCA audio cables.

Docks

If you use an iPod dock for your iTouch, you can still use both component and composite AV cables. Both types of cable are fully compatible with iPod docks; plug them in just as you would with the iTouch. This lets you charge your iTouch while using it with an LCD projector.
