Colleges In Anaheim California

Anaheim features several colleges and universities.

Anaheim, California, located in Orange County, is home to a number of colleges, universities and community colleges. With its sunny and warm weather, the city is an attractive place to attend school. And given the number of degrees and other programs offered by local colleges and universities, nearly every student can find a school that's right for them.

Anaheim University

Anaheim University was founded in 1996 with its motto: Students First, Always. The university offers both in-person and online degrees. Programs offered by the university include Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages -- TESOL -- degrees and certificates, master of business administration degrees -- MBA -- and sustainable management diplomas and certificates. The university is specifically a school of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, offering master's, doctorate, and certification programs. South Baylo is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board -- the CAB -- which sets certain requirements that must be met prior to graduation. Other graduation requirements include a residency period of three years for doctoral students.

Southern California Institute of Technology

The Southern California Institute of Technology -- SCIT -- was founded in 1987. SCIT is a private, independent college and offers accredited three-year bachelor's degree programs -- with an option for an accelerated program that can be completed in less than three years -- and seven-month diploma programs. Diploma programs include general electrician, accounting specialist and administrative assistant; degree programs include bachelor of science degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, accounting and business management.
