Facials
Ultrasound facial machines, which use sound waves to clean and rejuvenate skin, can be purchased for home use. They have been shown to help clear up acne and to diminish wrinkles and fine lines caused by aging and sun damage.
Instructions
1. Cover your skin with a thin layer of an astringent like witch hazel. You can also use water, but an astringent is better because it will more effectively clean the pores. Some ultrasound machines come with skin cleaning products.
2. Grasp the hand probe. Some ultrasound facial machines feature consoles with connecting hand probes, and others are merely hand probes with no console. No matter what type of machine you have, make sure that you can firmly but comfortably grasp the hand probe to apply even pressure to your face.
3. Lightly move the hand piece probe over your face. The liquid product on your face will begin to vaporize. Use a steady light pressure to your entire face, using special care on areas that are irritated.
4. Repeat the process daily or as often as you'd like. Experts say that it takes a couple of weeks of daily use to see results from your ultrasound facial machine.
