Medicare HMOs, which stands for Health Maintenance Organizations, are part of the Medicare Advantage program. Medicare Advantage plans are private health plans that are paid subsidies by the federal government to provide benefits to Medicare beneficiaries. Blue Care Network Advantage


Blue Care Network Advantage offers a range of plans, including a low premium plan at only $24 per month and a high premium plan at $97, according to Medicare.gov, for someone with good health. These plans cover dental but not vision. They are packaged with a Part D drug plan, all for an estimated annual cost of $4,440 to $4,850 for those with average health. The Blue Care Network rated relatively high in customer satisfaction on Medicare.gov with a 3.5 out of 5 for health plan quality and a 3.5 out of 5 for the prescription drug plan quality.

HAP Senior Plus --- Henry Ford Health System Network


The HAP Senior Plus plan is offered at a few levels, with premiums ranging from $50 to $117. All plans cover vision and include Part D prescription drug plans, and for an extra cost, enrollees can add dental coverage.
