According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects are strong and include positions in invasive and non-invasive technology in addition to opportunities as echocardiographers, vascular technologists and cardiographic technologists. Dozens of schools offer training in the field of echocardiogram technology, with one- and two-year training programs available.
