Whether you are looking for a lost cat, trying to sell your car, raising awareness for a cause or advertising a business, a flyer is an effective and inexpensive advertising tool. You do not need to be skilled in graphic design or have a degree in advertising to create and print a professional looking flyer. All you need is a few moments of time, a computer and a little creative effort to make a flyer.
Instructions
1. Choose a template. The Microsoft Office website offers thousands of free flyer templates from which to choose. Access the website. Click on a flyer category. Scroll through the various templates.
2. Scroll the mouse over the flyer you want to download a flyer template onto your computer. Click "Download." Click "Accept" to accept the Microsoft service agreement. The flyer will open in Microsoft Word.
3. Personalize the flyer template by highlighting each part of the flyer you want to change and typing the new information in each section.
4. Print the flyer. Click on the icon located at the upper left corner of Microsoft Word program. Click "Print." The flyer will print out on your printer.
