Texas Workforce Commission and Career Schools & Veterans Education Department accredit the ATI Career Training Center. ATI Career Training Center offers the Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program. The program consists of training in general sonography, cardiovascular and thoracic sonography, abdomen sonography, obstetrics sonography. It also offers externships that prepare students to work in clinics, hospitals, medical institutions and special area environments. The Academy of Health Care Professions
The Academy of Health Care Professions has a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Training or Sonography School. Students handle advanced imaging equipment that most hospitals use. Graduates of the Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Training can get a certification through the ARDMS or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Training in the Sonography School includes ultrasound sciences, patient examination techniques and clinical practice. Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) accredits the academy and Texas Workforce Commission approves the programs.
