The program is designed to prepare students to perform patient assessments, image evaluations and radiology procedures. Students who enter this program must have a bachelor's degree and will enter the program in the spring semester. Some of the courses that will be completed during this program include Abdominal Imaging and Procedures, Advanced Pathophysiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging and Procedures as well as Thoracic Imaging and Principles, Research Methodology and Statistics and Practice Issues. The program lasts for two years and students who successfully complete this program will be able to take the national registry exam for certification as a Radiology Assistant.
