Walmart provides low-cost health services to uninsured clientele in several store locations.
Many Walmart locations include a health clinic that provides low-cost primary health services. Individuals do not need insurance to attend these clinics and the cost of a visit can be cheaper than a visit to a doctor at a clinic not run by Walmart. It is also significantly cheaper than an emergency room visit. Walmart does not run the clinics. The chain leases store space to external operators who service patients. Finding a Walmart health clinic is as easy as visiting the chain's website.
Instructions
1. Find your state on the clinic location list on the Walmart website. The states are listed in alphabetical order. You can find the list by visiting the Walmart Clinics page and clicking on the "Clinic Locations" link.
2. Find your city in the list of Walmart health clinics in your state. If your city is not listed, look for neighboring communities in the list.
3. Confirm that the address of the clinic is close enough for you to attend. Make note of the hours that the clinic is open -- information that is also available on the list.
4. Click the "Info" link next to the city name. This will provide more information about the location including the services it provides in addition to the health clinic.
