Florida Colleges For Radiologic Technology

Florida's Agency for Workforce Innovation predicts that statewide demand for radiologic technologists, or radiographers, will increase by more than 14 percent from 2009 through 2017. Before receiving a license to work in this career, prospective technicians must first complete a post-secondary program the field, of which a number exist in Florida. Carrying the accreditation of the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT), these colleges also qualify graduates for voluntary certification from the ARRT.
