Xray Tech Training Programs

A radiologic technologist uses X-rays to aid diagnoses.

Radiologic technicians generate X-rays, or radiographs, of parts of the body using specialized equipment to help physicians identify medical abnormalities. Radiologic technicians work in hospitals, clinics and medical offices. To begin a career in this field, individuals must earn at least an associate's degree and pass the National Registry Examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
