Keep Breast Implants Looking Good

Breast implants should look natural.

If you are thinking about getting breast implants, you need to worry about more than just the cost and dangers of the surgery. Like anything you buy, breast implants can deteriorate over time if you don't take care of them. In order to keep your best implants looking good, you must provide them with adequate support and skin care.

Instructions

1. Moisturize your breasts. Apply cocoa butter and other oils that will keep the skin over your breast implants moist and soft. This will help condition your skin and also make it and your breast implants look good.

2. Massage your breasts. This is a suggestion surgeons often give their patients. Massaging breast implants helps to keep them soft and reduces their chances of hardening. Hard implants look fake and unattractive.

3. Wear a bra. Like real breasts, breast implants droop--especially over time. The only way to lengthen the time that they stay perky is to wear a bra. The bra you pick should be a sturdy one designed to hold up your larger breasts and give them adequate support.

4. Attend to any blemishes. Acne of the chest is not uncommon. Unfortunately, if you have it, your breasts won't look as appealing. Visit a dermatologist for help. He can tell you if your acne is a result of an allergy to foods or clothing or a hormone fluctuation. Acne of the chest is not as easy to get rid of as facial acne, so follow the directions your doctor gives you.

5. Sleep on your side. Don't apply too much pressure to your breast implants. Although they are sturdy, they can wear down more quickly if extra pressure is applied to them over time, and they can even leak. Leakage will not only affect how they look, but can also poison your system.
