Frontier Crew Cabs provide interior space for five occupants. The front row occupants have 39.3 inches of headroom, 41.4 inches of legroom, 55.3 inches of shoulder room and 55.2 inches of hip room. The truck's rear occupants get 37.8 inches of headroom, 30.74 inches of legroom, 54.4 inches of shoulder room and 49.1 inches of hip room.
Cargo Bed
All of the Crew Cab trim levels of the Frontier have the same bed width, which measures 41.7 inches at the truck's wheel wells and 59.8 inches from one side wall of the bed to the other. The depth of the bed measures the same across all trim levels, 17.1 inches. Bed length, however, measures 74.6 inches for Long Bed trim levels and 56.3 inches for regular bed trim levels.
Body and Chassis
Body length for the Crew Cab trim levels of the Frontier measures 199.9 inches on the XE, 202.9 inches on the SVE and 217.8 inches on the Long Bed. Body width measures the same on all trim levels, 71.2 inches. The truck's height measures 71.8 inches for the SVE, 67.1 inches for the XE and 72.3 inches for the SE. The Frontier's wheelbase measures 116.1 inches long, except for on Long Bed trim levels, in which the wheelbase measures 131.1 inches long. The track is the same for all trims: 60 inches wide in front and 59.3 inches wide in back.
Engine
Crew Cab trim levels of the 2003 Frontier come with a 3.3-liter V-6 engine block that has 12 valves, a single overhead camshaft, displacement measuring 3,275 cc, a 3.6 inch bore, a 3.27 inch stroke and a compression ratio of 8.9:1. Nissan has tuned the engine so that on some trim levels the maximum output measures 180 horsepower at 4,800 rpm and 202 ft-lbs of torque at 2,800 rpm or alternatively 210 horsepower at 4,800 rpm and 246 ft-lbs of torque at 2,800 rpm.
