Sky Angel faith and family television is a Christian-themed television network that transmits via Internet protocol television (IPTV) signals. IPTV requires a minimum broadband Internet connection speed of 1.5 megabits per second.
Sky Angel Receiver
The Sky Angel Receiver is a set-top box connected to a television. The box links the television to the household's broadband Internet service with an ethernet cable. If the broadband service's box is in another room, you can use a local area wireless router to connect the set-top box to the broadband service.
Fair Access Policy
Satellite and Wi-Fi Internet service providers use a fair access policy to limit customers' use of the Internet service. If you access the service for more time than allowed by the terms of service, connection speed will become reduced or cut off.
Sky Angel's Policy on Satellite and Wi-Fi Providers
Sky Angel does not recommend any Satellite or Wi-Fi broadband service providers due to the above policy. Customers may have the required connection speed, but the Sky Angel service requires more broadband service volume than providers are generally willing to offer. Sky Angel recommends cable and DSL Internet connections.
