Kansas Real Estate Schools

School of Real Estate


Being atop of the real estate market requires a sound educational foundation. Kansas has an array of quality academic institutions to help build that foundation. You have the option to apply for Real Estate Schools that offer classes online, at home, or in the traditional classroom setting. Before you decide to attend a particular college or class, confirm its accreditation. The Kansas Real Estate Commission gives requirements for licensing, as well as various courses and schools it accepts. Realty School of Kansas


The Realty School of Kansas was established in 1973. Located in Wichita, the school provides training and educational programs. Classes include the Kansas practice and pre-license courses required by the Kansas Real Estate Commission. It has an extended education course for brokers interested in renewing their license. RSK has adopted the motto "We Can Help You Now" with its on-site or home-study program options.


Center for Real Estate


The Center for Real Estate at Wichita State University offers study fields ranging from real estate asset management to investment and portfolio analysis. It offers course credits to undergraduates and graduates looking for continuing education. CRE also has an internship program to assist in the hands-on aspect of real estate.


Kansas Association of Realtors


The KAR Academy is located in Topeka Kansas. It offers three package options for your 60-hour real estate requirements. Option one is an on-site classroom course; broken into four separate days. Option two and three are home study courses. Option three allows you to complete a one or two day presentation before you begin your home study. Each option costs $195 as of 2011. The school also provides individual courses and classes that you may take to acquire your license.


Career Education Systems


Career Education Systems, offers the choice of weekend or weekday classes. Along with its classroom courses, it offers online and off-site training. It breaks down the Kansas requirements for a license into a four-step program.
